Who we Are
Gift of Life, established in 2019, is a non-profit organisation based in Sweden whose purpose is to save children in India born with a congenital heart disease (CHD) . We believe in the principle of “Love all, Serve all”
Why India
India is the world’s capital of congenital heart disease (CHD) making up for over 50% of the global population of people affected with a CHD. Over 200,000 children are born annually with a CHD in India and tragically 250 children die every single day of their heart disease due to lack of resources.
Is there Hope?
Since 2012, four hospitals which offer totally free of cost heart treatments have been established around the country addressing around 10% of the country’s needs. Over 30,000 lives have been saved so far and the wonderful works continues!

The hospitals offer Paediatric cardiac care with results that are comparable
with international figures. Each month the hospitals among them conduct around 200 surgeries and 100 catheter interventions catering to approximately 10 % of all registered children with CHD in India. The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals aim to address the burden of Congenital Heart Diseases through a comprehensive approach.
